Mashed Potatoes

Yield: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 7 potatoes
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon milk or cream (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Wash and peel the potatoes; cut each into 4-6 pieces.
- Place potatoes in a pot, and cover with water. Bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer, and cook until the potatoes are tender.
- When the potatoes are cooked, drain well.
- Add the melted butter, and mash the potatoes.
- Add the milk or cream, salt, and pepper to taste.
