Mashed Potatoes

Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 7 potatoes
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Wash and peel the potatoes; cut each into 4-6 pieces.
  • Place potatoes in a pot, and cover with water.  Bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer, and cook until the potatoes are tender.
  • When the potatoes are cooked, drain well.
  • Add the melted butter, and mash the potatoes.
  • Add the milk or cream, salt, and pepper to taste.
