Tamale Casserole

Yield: 8×12 pan
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb. link sausage
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can corn, drained
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 small can sliced olives, drained
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Brown sausage, and drain.
- Add ground beef and onion, and brown.
- Add seasoning, corn, tomato sauce, and milk. Simmer 20 minutes.
- Stir in cornmeal. Add olives, and pour into a casserole. Top with cheese.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
