From the Toolbox:

  • Small Sauce Pan
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Whisk
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Cutting Board
  • Paring Knife
  • Four Small Serving Glasses

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups honey or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 lb. box of seasonal berries or whole seasonal fruit

Directions:

  • In a small sauce pan, heat the milk on medium/low until scalded. (Small bubbles will form around the sides of the pan.) Do not let the milk boil.
  • In the large mixing bowl, pour the milk over the chocolate chips and let stand for three minutes to soften the chocolate. Add the vanilla and whisk together. Let cool, and whisk again.
  • Add the yogurt and whisk together.
  • Wash, dry, and slice the fruit. If using berries, leave 4 of the largest and best-looking berries whole.
  • Layer the chocolate mousse and fruit/berries in four serving glasses, ending with chocolate mousse. Top with slices of whole fruit or a large berry.
